This technoeconomic analysis and review of next generation carbon capture technology focuses in particular on the opportunity to deploy next generation carbon capture technology on UK industrial, waste and power sites between 2030 and 2035.

Industry stakeholders were given the opportunity to provide input to the interim findings, and an advisory board was set up to monitor the review.

BEIS commissioned AECOM and the University of Sheffield to undertake the review.
