Details

The Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) laid before Parliament a report titled ‘A review of the implementation of environmental assessment regimes in England’ pursuant to section 29(2) of the Environment Act 2021. The report examines the implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) in England.

This is the government’s statutory response to that report pursuant to the Act.
