Details

Directive 2004/49/EC (the Railway Safety Directive) established a common framework for the regulation and development of railway safety across all European Union member states.

ROGS transposed the principal part of the directive in Great Britain and also contains provisions covering other railway safety requirements.

This document is the post implementation review of ROGS.
