1. About this notice

This notice is issued under Conditions GCE12.4, GCE17.7 and GCE20.5 and applies to all awarding organisations and in respect of all GCE Qualifications.

Terms in this notice have the same meaning as given to them in the General Conditions of Recognition, including the Qualification Level Conditions.

2. Decisions

The following Conditions shall come into effect at 12.00am on 1 September 2017

  • Conditions GCE12.2(b) to GCE12.2(i)
  • Condition GCE12.3

The following Conditions shall come into effect at 12.00am on 1 May 2020

  • Condition GCE17.5(j)
  • Condition GCE17.6(b)
  • Condition GCE17.6(h)
  • Condition GCE20.2(e)

For the avoidance of doubt, the replacement wording set out in Conditions GCE17.7(a) to GCE17.7(c) shall cease to apply from 12.00am on 1 May 2020.
