Details
This direction requires the council to continue to co-operate with the commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State for Education.
It follows:
- Ofsted’s inspection report of North East Lincolnshire Council local authority children’s services, published on 26 November 2021, that judged services to be inadequate across all sub judgements
- an independent report by Peter Dwyer CBE, the North East Lincolnshire Children’s Services Commissioner at the time
This direction replaces the earlier statutory direction issued to North East Lincolnshire Council on 1 June 2022.
