Rivenhall Greenhouse Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/037/0031/001/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from the River Blackwater at National Grid Reference TL 83430 22230.

The variation applied for is to remove the existing self destruct clause condition and to add the two following purposes to the licence:

  • Horticultural Irrigation and linked operations

  • Mineral Washing and Processing.

No other changes have been requested and the existing quantities will be aggregated across all purposes.
