Use this calculator to work out the nutrient budget for proposed developments in the catchment of River Kent SAC.

The calculator includes all the wastewater treatment work upgrades required under the new Water Industry Act 1991 duty, as announced in May 2024.

   Amended the River Kent nutrient neutrality calculator to reflect the lack of an upgrade at Staveley Wastewater Treatment Works. The works will remain at 8mg of Total Phosphorous per litre post 2030.
