How to find the lock
Address: Buscot, Faringdon, Oxfordshire, SN7 8DA.
From the A417 (Lechlade to Faringdon road), turn north onto the road marked Buscot village only.
From the village, follow the public footpath towards the river and take the right fork. The route is marked on the map with a green dashed line.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock.
You may park at the National Trust car park in Buscot Village (approximately quarter of a mile from the lock).
No toilets are available at the lock.
Where to fish
Cross the lock gates. You may fish from the far side of the island in the weir channel. You may also cross the weir and fish from the opposite bank. These areas are marked in red on the map.
You must not fish from the weir walkway or the banks upstream of the weir.

You may fish from dawn to dusk at this site. You must show your permit to the lock keeper during the lock keepers’ hours of duty.
