How to find the lock
Address: Little Wittenham, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 4RD.
From the A4074 (Oxford to Reading road), turn onto Henley Road or Abingdon Road (via the A415) to access Dorchester. Follow the footpath from Dorchester south and west to the lock.
From the A4130 (Wallingford to Didcot road), turn onto Sires Hill to access Little Wittenham. Follow the footpath from Little Wittenham north to the lock.
The footpaths are marked on the map with a green dashed line.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock.
You may park near the bridge in Dorchester. You may also park at Wittenham Clumps car park.
No toilets are available at the lock.
Where to fish
Cross the lock gates and the weir walkway. You may fish downstream of the weir. This area is marked in red on the map.
