How to find the lock
Address: Mill Lane, Hurley, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 5ND.
From the A4130 (Henley to Maidenhead road), turn north at Hurley Bottom onto the road marked Hurley village only.
Follow the road to its end. Follow the footpath and pedestrian signs to the lock (approximately 0.1 miles). The route is marked on the map with a green dashed line.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock.
You may use the public car park in Hurley village.
Toilets are available at the lock.
Where to fish
You may fish from the far side of the island in the weir channel, downstream of the weir. This area is marked in red on the map.
You may also fish from the north bank of the lock cut from 1 October to 14 March. This is on the same side of the river as the lock office. This area is marked in purple on the map.
Additional information
You may fish from dawn to dusk at this site. You must show your permit to the lock keeper during the lock keepers’ hours of duty.
Day tickets are available. However, permit holders do not have to pay the day ticket charge.
