How to find the lock
Address: Shiplake on Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 3NA.
From the A4155 (Reading to Henley road), turn east onto Mill Lane.
Follow the footpath south to the lock. The route is marked on the map with a green dashed line.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock. You should not park on Mill Lane beyond the lock access path as this is private.
You may park on the roadside where local restrictions permit.
Toilets are available at the lock.
Where to fish
Cross the lock gates. You may fish from the far side of the island in the weir channel. This area is marked in red on the map.
