The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Anglian Water Services Limited.

This is an application to vary a Standard Rules 2008 No 19 250kte permit for non-hazardous sludge biological chemical and physical treatment to a bespoke permit for head of works discharge and import of cake solids and sludges into the works for dewatering and storage of the dewatered cake prior to export off site. The application also proposes to alter the site boundary through addition of a small area of land and a partial surrender.
