1975 Romania-UK Double Taxation Convention — in force

This Double Taxation Convention entered into force on 22 November 1977.

It is effective in Romania from 1 April 1976 and in the UK from:

• 1 April 1976 for Corporation Tax
• 6 April 1976 for Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax

2024 UK-Romania Double Taxation Agreement — not in force

This Double Taxation Agreement was signed in London on 13 November 2024 and has not yet come into force. This will happen when the procedures required by the law of both countries for the bringing into force of this Convention are completed.

An announcement will be made when these procedures have been completed.
