Data protection legislation requires organisations who process personal data to meet certain legal obligations.

The Rural Payment Agency Data Protection Policy provides information about the safeguards that RPA has put in place in accordance with the data protection principles.

These Appropriate Policy Documents outline where the sensitive processing of special category personal data and criminal offence data is required for law enforcement purposes.

All 3 policies apply to all processing of personal data carried out by RPA. This includes processing carried out by joint controllers, contractors, and processors.
