Notice no longer in force - sunken vessel in Rye Harbour has now been cleared.

Mariners are advised that the vessel sunk in the Rock Channel off Rock Channel Quay has been secured and is no longer blocking the navigable channel.

This notice cancels the previous notice to mariners.

Mariners are advised that a vessel has broken from its moorings and sunk in the Rock Channel off Rock Channel Quay.

The vessel is a 32ft concrete hull boat. The wreck is unmarked and is currently blocking the navigable channel in its current state.

Mariners are advised to avoid this area until the channel is cleared.
