Details

The Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) undertook a scientific risk assessment and considered the suitability and applicability of the new growth standards to infants and children aged 0 to 5 years, in the UK.

The recommendations are presented as a report, in which the relative merits of adopting the new growth standards are highlighted.
