This guidance outlines how to comply with the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Mandate and gives practical instructions on how to submit the required information to the Administrator for the 2025 obligation period.

This guidance covers:

  • applying for and maintaining an account with the SAF Mandate Administrator
  • the obligation that the SAF Mandate puts on fuel suppliers and how it is met
  • applying for SAF certificates
  • how and when to submit fuel quantities to the SAF Mandate Administrator
  • civil penalties
