Details

Section 61 of the Illegal Migration Act 2023 placed a duty on the Home Secretary to prepare and publish a report on safe and legal routes by which people can enter the United Kingdom.

This report is focused on the UK’s safe and legal routes for humanitarian purposes and does not seek to set out the broader legal pathways to the UK.
