The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) chairs a Cross-Sector Safeguarding Steering Group (CSSG). This includes representatives from all stakeholders who made commitments related to the international Safeguarding Summit in October 2018. View the host’s outcome summary from the conference. The CSSG meets every 3 months to share progress, challenges and examples of best practice across the sector.
For accountability, transparency and learning, the CSSG publishes an annual progress report. This provides an update on work to prevent and respond to sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH) in line with the London Summit commitments. It outlines progress, challenges and the highlights of its members’ work on safeguarding against SEAH between August 2021 and August 2022.
