This safety message concerns the loss of 4 lives on fishing vessel Chelaris J. Alterations to the vessel had reduced its stability such that it lost the ability to right itself when its gear became snagged on a sandbank. The information has been prepared for members of the:

An investigation report has also been produced for this accident.
