Details

This summary concerns a fire on the main vehicle deck of the roll on, roll off (ro-ro) vessel Commodore Clipper. The investigation found that the fire was due to one of the ship’s reefer cables being assembled incorrectly.

The information has been prepared for:

  • operators of ro-ro vessels
  • the ports industry

An investigation report has also been produced for this accident.
