On this page you will find the government’s policy statement in support of the Treaty for the Provision of an Asylum Partnership between the UK and Rwanda, and the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill

The policy statement assesses the safety of Rwanda for the purposes of relocating individuals under the terms of the Migration and Economic Development Partnership, based on a combination of the treaty provisions and additional work conducted with the government of Rwanda.
