Salix Finance Ltd became a non-departmental public body sponsored by the former Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) on 30 September 2020, now the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).

This document provides the broad framework for how Salix Finance Ltd and DESNZ will work together. It also sets out certain governance and decision-making responsibilities of Salix Finance Ltd and their accountabilities to DESNZ and Parliament.
