SBRI funding competition: Project innovation fund for Prevent
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £1.5 million for innovative projects to prevent vulnerable people from being drawn into terrorism.

This competition opened on 30 August 2016 and is now closed for registrations.
The Home Office’s Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) is investing up to £1.5 million in innovative projects to prevent radicalisation and terrorism. This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition. It will be funded through the Project Innovation Fund for Prevent.
The aim of this competition is to develop innovative solutions for understanding and preventing radicalisation and support for terrorism.
Successful projects should produce an outcome, resource or new technology that builds understanding and prevention of radicalisation and support for terrorism.
We expect projects to range in size from total costs of £10,000 to £100,000, inclusive of VAT.
Applicants must register with Innovate UK by noon on 5 October 2016.
You must apply before noon on 12 October 2016.
A briefing event for potential bidders will be held on Tuesday 13 September 2016. To register for this event, please send an email to: PIF2Applications@homeoffice.x.gsi.gov.uk. Limited places are available so please register early.
