Details

The purpose of this divisional circular letter is to inform building control bodies in England and Wales on the professional indemnity and public liability insurance policies offered by Lockton Companies LLP for approved inspectors carrying out building control functions, and is an addition to the three other approved insurance schemes offered by insurers.

The guidance in this circular letter applies to buildings and building work in England, and also to excepted energy buildings in Wales.

The approval takes effect from the1 December 2017 and continues in effect until withdrawn by the Secretary of State.
