Details

At almost every key stage, Poole schools have performed above national levels.

At key stage 1, schools performed above the national level in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.

At key stage 2, schools pulled their performance up from the bottom in 2015 to a mid-ranking position when compared with other local authorities.

Secondary schools built on last year’s improvement with a positive progress 8 score, which is above the national average.

The proportion of pupils passing GCSEs in English and mathematics at grade C or better was 67.6%, against an England figure of 62.8%.
