These reports show the findings from a mixed methods study to understand how primary and secondary schools in England responded to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The research took place during the 2020 to 2021 academic year (year 1 findings) and the 2021 to 2022 (year 2 findings).

Statistics on pupil absences for the same time period are available.
