Details

The School Teachers Review Body’s 34th report sets out STRB’s analysis and proposals for teachers’ and school leaders’ pay.  The Government responded to the report in Parliament. The written ministerial statement setting out the Government’s response can be found here.

The report on teacher job levelling has been produced by WTW. The research was commissioned for STRB and analysed the job levels of teaching and leadership roles and, using external salary survey data, compared these roles with jobs of a similar size, scope and complexity. It is one part of the broad evidence base used by the STRB.

The STRB provides independent advice to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Education on school teachers’ and school leaders’ pay and conditions in England.
