Details

A letter from the Council for Science and Technology (CST) to the Prime Minister about how other countries are funding and supporting science to make their economies stronger. The council concludes that the UK should look at:

  • building stronger relationships with major inward research and development investors
  • using procurement to pull innovations through to market
  • building innovation into wider national and local strategies
  • extending opportunities for entrepreneurship in universities
