Boundary disputes: a scoping study

Details

Boundary disputes relate to the position of a boundary between neighbouring properties and the ownership of the land falling either side of the boundary.

The study summarises responses received from stakeholders in relation to the nature, frequency and causes of boundary disputes, the effectiveness of methods to resolve them, and possible actions to address any problems with the current system.

It sets out the government’s conclusions and plans for future work in the area.
