Seasonal influenza vaccine uptake in healthcare workers: winter 2012 to 2013

Details

Frontline healthcare workers involved in direct patient care (HCWs) are encouraged to receive annually the trivalent seasonal influenza vaccination to protect themselves and their patients from influenza.

To assess the uptake of influenza vaccines for the 2012 to 2013 winter season among HCWs, the HPA (now PHE) ran a seasonal influenza vaccine uptake survey of all 398 NHS Trusts (Acute, Ambulance, Mental Health, Primary Care, Care, and Foundation Trusts) in England. This survey was on behalf of Department of Health.
