This annual research aimed to provide evidence for the effectiveness of the 2020 to 2021 Self Assessment advertising campaign, which targeted Self Assessment customers.
It evaluated awareness of the campaign and comprehension of key messages, to help ensure that HMRC advertising is effective, resonates well with the target audience and is as efficient as it can be.
The research was conducted with 675 Self Assessment customers - 345 before the campaign, and 330 after it.
