Data on the difference in employees’ average earnings from April 2022 to April 2023.

Details

The data, which is based on the April 2023 payroll and bonus data over the previous 12 months, shows that the mean gender pay gap is 12.67% (12.28% in 2022). The median gender pay gap is 13.65% (11.32% in 2022).

We are disappointed to report an increase in these measures over the period.

We have and will continue to make modifications to our reward structures to remove historical barriers to progression for female colleagues.

Sellafield Ltd has a constant focus on gender equality, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle as well as working as an active member of industry organisations focussed on boosting female representation within the nuclear industry, including Women in Nuclear.
