The review examined evidence in relation to the continuing need for the SSRB and its status as a non-departmental public body. It also looked at the SSRB’s compliance with the Cabinet Office’s principles of good corporate governance.

This review assessed the cost and composition of the SSRB to determine whether any further improvements could be made to increase its efficiency and effectiveness.
