This policy framework sets out what information is required and how to calculate the release dates for determinate sentenced prisoners in accordance with the relevant legislative release provisions.

It explains the process to be followed, timings of required actions and who can carry out the relevant calculations and checks

The framework replaces Prison Service Instruction 03/2015.
