Documents

Details

This document contains volumes 1, 2 and 3 and the glossary of the Phase One Supplementary Environmental Statement 4 (SES4) and Additional Provision 5 (AP5) Environmental Statement (ES). These volumes are:

Volume 1 Introduction and methodology

Introduces the design changes included within SES4 and the amendments which have resulted in the need to amend the Bill within the AP5 ES. The report also explains the scope, methodology, assumptions and limitations of the environmental impact assessment, and approach to consultation.

Volume 2 Community forum area (CFA) reports

Describes the design changes included within SES4 (Part 1) and the amendments within the AP5 ES (Part 2). Reports on their likely significant environmental effects compared to those reported in the main ES, as updated by the SES, SES2 and SES3 documents (and SES4 for the AP5 amendments). The AP1, AP2, AP3 and AP4 amendments are also taken into account, where relevant. This volume is also supported by a map book.

Volume 3 Route-wide effects

This volume reports new or different likely significant route-wide effects arising from the design changes included within SES4 (Part 1) and the amendments within the AP5 ES (Part 2) compared to those reported in the main ES, as updated by the SES, SES2 and SES3 documents (and SES4 for the AP5 amendments). The AP1, AP2, AP3 and AP4 amendments are also taken into account, where relevant.

Glossary of terms and list of abbreviations

This contains any new or different terms and abbreviations used throughout the SES and AP ES reports, additional to those included in the main ES.

None of the SES4 changes or AP5 amendments occur, or have likely significant environmental effects in off-route areas (i.e. outside the CFAs), so no Volume 4 has been prepared.
