Details

The Committee held a ‘horizon scanning’ breakfast seminar on 10 July which brought together a range of interested organisations and individuals to look ahead at possible ethical standards issues on the horizon.

This note summarises the discussion, which was held on the basis that nothing would be directly attributed to individuals or organisations. It covers the topics of: the role of the Committee, public perceptions of MPs, social media, local government, referendums, and public service providers.

At the event, we also launched Setting the Standard, our Strategic Plan, Annual Report 2016-17 & Forward Plan 2017-18.
