Severn Trent Water Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The variation applied for is: to change the purpose on licence 03/28/56/0030 from ‘transfer for subsequent re-abstraction pursuant to licence 03/28/57/0063’, to ‘Public Water Supply’. Abstraction will take place from surface water at National Grid Reference SK 56 09.
The quantities will remain as follows:
- 2,500,000 cubic meters per year
- 10,000 cubic meters per day
- 417 cubic meters per hour
- All year.
