1. Find Apprenticeship Training: Submit Your Data
Action
We are developing an online find apprenticeship training search facility that employers can use to find apprenticeship standards or frameworks and identify approved providers that can deliver the training.
To populate that search facility, we need information about your apprenticeship provision. Please review the Apprenticeship Data: Course Directory Provider Portal User Guide and the Content Guidance documents and submit your information through the Course Directory Provider Portal.
For further information, please email the Course Directory Provider Portal mailbox.
2. The Hub and Data Collections Service: Unavailable 6.00pm Friday, 12 August to Tuesday, 23 August
Information
During August, we will be moving the Hub and the data collections service to a new infrastructure and website.
The data collections service will be unavailable from 6.00pm Friday, 12 August to Tuesday, 23 August. Please note that there are no data returns due during this period. All other services on the Hub will continue to be available during this time.
The move will help us to ensure our ongoing IT running costs remain low; after the move, we will automatically redirect you to the new website. There will be no other changes to the service.
For further information, please email the Service Desk.
3. Apprenticeship Grant for Employers: 2016 to 2017 Change Request Form
Information
As detailed in our Performance-management Rules 2016 to 2017, we have published the 2016 to 2017 change request form for Apprenticeship Grant for Employers (AGE) allocations. Please use this form to request an increase to your AGE allocation.
If you do not have an AGE allocation you can use this form to request one for the first time; you must have an apprenticeships funding agreement for the appropriate age groups with us.
For further information or related queries, please refer to the Apprenticeships Framework Funding Rules page on GOV.UK or contact your Business Operations provider manager.
4. College Financial Reporting Framework: Presentation
Information
We have published a presentation to give colleges an overview of the college financial reporting framework. Please open this in Google Chrome or Firefox.
It covers the main outcomes from the 2014 to 2015 financial statements and common issues experienced by the sector. You can use this information to help you plan this year’s accounts and audit process. The presentation also sets out the arrangements for the 2015 to 2016 financial year.
