1. Guidance for 2016 to 2017 funding claims
Action
The 2016 to 2017 mid-year claim form will be available on the Hub from 9am on Tuesday 7 February, and close at 4pm on Friday 10 February 2017.
The form will be pre-populated with your earnings following the R06 data collection return. Please add your forecasts for the remainder of the 2016 to 2017 funding year. Completed ILR data returns for the adult education budget will be required.
The value of actual data submitted at R06, as well as the value of the funding claim, may be taken into account when setting up 2017 to 2018 adult education allocations.

2. Apprenticeship funding rules 2017 to 2018 – final versions
Information
We have published the final versions of the apprenticeship funding rules that will apply to apprenticeship starts from 1 May 2017. We have updated these based on your feedback, which we have used to clarify content.
The documents set out the rules for apprenticeship funding, including the evidence required to support funding. They also include guidance for employers and performance management rules for training providers.

3. Apprenticeship technical funding guide (from 1 May 2017)
Information
We have published version 2 of the technical guide to the apprenticeship funding system from 1 May 2017.
This explains how funding will work for apprenticeship frameworks and standards starting on or after this date, including how we will calculate provider payments.

4. Adult Education Budget (AEB) procurement exercise
Information
The competitive procurement exercise for AEB funds (released by contracts for services ending) is now open, and closes on 27 February 2017 at 5pm.
It is open to all eligible providers on the Register of Training Organisations.
