1. Exceptional learning support claims: 2016 to 2017
Action
To claim exceptional learning support (ELS) for the 2016 to 2017 academic year, you must submit a form with estimated costs for learners who require ELS.
Completed forms need to be sent to our exceptional learning support claims mailbox.

2. Qualifications eligibility principles – 2016 to 2017
Information
We have updated the qualifications eligibility principles following the publication of version 3 of the adult education budget (AEB) funding rules.
This is to provide further clarification of the eligibility principles that we apply to determine if a qualification will be eligible, as part of local flexibilities, through AEB.

3. Legal entitlements qualifications lists: updated
Information
We have updated the 2016 to 2017 levels 2, level 3 and maths and English legal entitlements lists to include: * A and AS levels * Access to HE Diploma * IGCSEs (count towards the baccalaureate).
Later this month, we will update the Hub to include these qualifications.

4. National Apprenticeship Week 2017
Information
The 10th National Apprenticeship Week 2017 (NAW 2017) will take place from Monday, 6 March to Friday, 10 March 2017.
We will be celebrating the tenth anniversary with apprenticeship achievements from the past decade. Themes for the week will be confirmed in due course.
