Details

The Shared Outcomes Fund was originally set up in 2019 to incentivise departments to work collaboratively across challenging policy areas, in order to strengthen joint working, improve outcomes and deliver better value for citizens. Summaries for pilots funded during the first and second rounds of the Shared Outcomes Fund have previously been published.

Spending Review 2021 announced £200 million to continue funding the Shared Outcomes Fund until the end of the current Spending Review period, to allow the government to keep supporting pilot projects and to scale up those where the evaluation shows they work. Up to £100 million was earmarked for a third round of the Shared Outcomes Fund for projects to be run between 2023-24 and 2024-25. The pilots funded by this third round are set out in the document linked above. For each project, a short summary is provided, along with a list of departments and key partners involved.
