Details

From 1 September 2017, people who are or will be 70, 78 or 79 years of age on that date are eligible for the shingles vaccination. Individuals in their 70’s who were born after 1 September 1942 and who have missed out on vaccination are eligible until their 80th birthday.

Health professionals can enter patient dates of birth into this interactive document to find out if they’re eligible for the shingles vaccine.
