Decision of the Charity Commission published on 28 September 2011.

The commission drew up a draft scheme in discussion with the charity’s trustees, which would give them power to sell Arundells, the former Salisbury home of Sir Edward Heath. The commission received over 200 representations, the majority of which opposed the draft scheme.

On reviewing the decision to make the scheme, the commission decided that it should not be made and the trustees should consider other ways of generating funds to keep the charity viable.
