What was procured
DevOps and Level 3 support services on HMPO’s digital applications that fall within the Business Intelligence, Infrastructure & Integration (BI3) product family.

Bidders to this tender opportunity were required to detail how they would create apprenticeships or skills development opportunities during the contract lifetime to enhance the diversity of their workforce, including but not limited to apprenticeships, skills development, employment opportunities, returnships after career break, career change programmes and retirement phasing.
Social value commitments made
The supplier (Atos) has a partnership with the charity Ambitious about Autism to provide internship opportunities to young people with autism. Ambitious about Autism are the national charity for children and young people with autism. They provide education and employment services, raise awareness and understanding and campaign for change.
Atos have agreed to hire two apprentices through this programme during the initial two years of the contract who will have a placement within the HMPO portfolio supporting the BI3 contract.
During 2021, 20 Atos employees in the UK have taken part in a training delivered by Ambitious about Autism to further their understanding of autism in the workplace and what they can do to support colleagues with autism.
