This document is the co-chairs’ statement and call to action from the second roundtable dialogue on Small island developing states (SIDS) and access to finance - identifying solutions for a resilient post-COVID-19 recovery.

The event was co-hosted by the UK government, The Republic of Fiji, Belize and The Alliance of Small Island Developing States (AOSIS). It was held virtually 7 October 2021.

This second roundtable event marked the culmination of the 2-year process and this call to action sets out the final recommendations. The process focussed on the challenges faced by SIDS including eligibility criteria for finance, tailored systems, and debt.
