HMT and BEIS commissioned the City of London Corporation on 24 November 2020 to establish an independent taskforce to boost socio-economic diversity in UK financial and professional services.

Breaking the Class Barrier: recommendations report

In November 2022, the taskforce published a report called Breaking the Class Barrier. The report provides recommendations for government, regulators, sector bodies and employers on boosting socio-economic diversity in UK financial and professional services.
