Details

This leaflet describes how the 2002 regulations affect owners and users of small pleasure boats. It covers the following requirements:

  • voyage planning
  • radar reflectors
  • life saving signals
  • assistance to other craft
  • misuse of distress signals

You may be prosecuted if you’re involved in a boating accident and you haven’t applied the basic principles outlined in this leaflet.
