Centro Mujer Generalitat Valenciana: women’s centres

  • offer psychological and legal support and advice as well as information on procedures in Spain and practical support with overcoming the consequences of the abuse
  • services are free and operated by the Valencian Government
  • English speakers are not always available. The British consulate can help you arrange an appointment with English speaking staff where possible

Centros de Atención a Mujeres Víctimas de Violencia de Género (CAVI) Murcia: women’s centres

  • call 901 101 332 to get the address and book an appointment at one of the centres in Alhama de Murcia, Águilas, Alcantarilla, Archena, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cieza, Fuente Álamo, Lorca, Mazarrón, Molina de Segura, Mula, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, Santomera, Torre Pacheco, Torres de Cotillas. Totana and Yecla
  • they offer psychological support, legal support and advice, information about your rights, information around procedures in Spain and practical support with overcoming the consequences of the abuse
  • all services are free and are operated by the Murcia Regional Government
  • English speakers are not always available. The British Consulate can help you arrange an appointment with your nearest women’s centre so we can try to ensure there is someone English speaking available

HELP charities offer practical support to people going through any kind of difficulty.

The kind of help given varies from group to group but all have English speaking volunteers and can offer advice and support
