16 February 2021 - Frequently Asked Questions
The deadline to ask questions about the content of the CLA Education Information For Applicants (IFA) passed at 5pm on 11 February 2021.
In the IFA we indicated that a final FAQs document would be published in the week commencing 15 February 2021. However, we have received no questions we consider to be of wider interest and as a result no FAQ will be published.

4 February 2021 - Civil Legal Advice (CLA) Specialist Telephone Advice services in Education procurement process opens
We have today opened a procurement opportunity to deliver Civil Legal Advice Specialist Telephone Advice services in the Education Category of Law from 1 April 2021.
The deadline for the submission of tenders under this procurement process is 5pm on 25 February 2021. To submit a complete tender organisations must submit a response to both:
- The Selection Questionnaire (SQ); and
- The CLA Education Category Invitation To Tender (ITT).
The Information for Applicants (IFA) document is available in the ‘documents’ section at the top of this page. The IFA provides full details about the procurement process, including the criteria that Applicants must meet, and the timetable for when services are to commence.
Contract documentation is available on the 2021 CLA contract page. Applicants are also strongly advised to read the relevant CLA Contract(s) in full to ensure that they understand the full nature and extent of the obligations they are proposing to accept.
All tenders responses must be submitted using the e-Tendering system, accessed either through a link on the tender pages of the LAA website or directly at: https://legalaid.bravosolution.co.uk.

If you have any questions about the procurement process or the IFA document, these must be raised through the e-Tendering system by 5pm on 11 February 2021.

2 February 2021 - Publication of a cancellation notice relating to the procurement process for CLA services in Education from 1 April 2021
Today the LAA has cancelled the procurement process for CLA services from 1 April 2021 in the Education Category of Law.
This cancellation notice does not apply to the LAA’s procurement of CLA Services in the Discrimination Category of Law, conducted under the same procurement process.
The cancellation notice can be found in the ‘documents’ section above.
The LAA will publish further information regarding the next steps for CLA services in Education shortly.
21 October 2020 - Publication of Procurement process for CLA Specialist Telephone Advice Contracts in Education and Discrimination from 1 April 2021 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We have today published the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document relating to the CLA Specialist Telephone Advice in Education and Discrimination tender.
